View Full Version : Latest Detail (Silver VW Touareg)

My latest detail was this metallic silver VW Touareg that was in pretty decent shape besides a few scratches and some black dots on all the top surfaces from sitting under a tree. I removed all the wheels from the vehicle and extensively cleaned the wheel wells and the inside of the wheels since none of my brushes would fit in between the spokes to clean behind them.



On the exterior paint I decided to use all Poorboy`s products since I haven`t been able to test some of my new products out yet. I spot buffed the scratches with SSR2.5 using a rotary polisher with a foam cutting pad at 1800 RPM and followed behind with SSR1 using a foam finishing pad at 1400 RPM. I sealed it with a hand application of EX and left it in the garage overnight to cure. For the last step I applied a coat of Natty`s.



I find the Poorboy`s product line very easy to work with. I have always used a variety of different products, but I think I am going to do some experimenting with Poorboy`s to see what kind of results I can achieve with them.
