I was reading David W. Bynon article "Perfect Shine" in the learning section here (http://autopia.org/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=26&c=16) and was wondering if Pinnacle Souveran was infact all that? I am tempted to try the process and I don`t mind spending the money but $100 for a wax is steep especially when you don`t know the outcome.

Any comments on the product?

Thanks

I love Souveran but it is pricey. The main think is the prep in whole. Souveran has the edge just over other Waxes but IMO over a good prep there is not a lot off difference. Infact the other day over a already preped car, I could see hardly any difference between the Souveran and Signature.

For example Clearkote Carnuba Moose wax is very very close in apperance.

Get some S100 for $15 and you`ll be just as happy

CCW is great stuff, and is more durable too.

Really? From what I have read that doesn`t sound right.

Let me know if you would like to buy a can that has barely been used. I detailed this guy`s red Jag and he wanted some so I ordered it and used it two times. Now he wants something with more durability as he doesn`t want me coming back every 2-3 weeks. He wants monthly visits...damn it. :p

Souveran and signature are the same flavor, same company... one for darker colored cars, and the other for lighter cars....why should they be more than fractionally different???:nixweiss

IMO for a daily driver I`d go with S100-IMO PS is what I`d use on a showcar

mochamanz- My point is Souveran is a good deal more expensive than the Signature. The Souveran is then as you say marketed towards Black cars. If you read the linked post in my reply you will see that there was not alot to justify the extra $$ on the souveran when I did I side by side test on my black car.

The first post in the thread asks if Souveran is worth the money, and I am not sure weather it is worth the extra IMO.

Can someone tell me what CCW is? I can`t seem to find it in the acronyms section.

Its funny that you should agree. I have been using the following.

MPPC

P21S Cleanser

S100

Since I would like to do the car soon I think I`ll try

MPPC

P21S Cleanser

NXT

Would it be beneficial to put my S100 anywhere in that mix? Would it make sense?

You could top NXT with it. I havent tried it but I think it would give a pretty deep carnauba look to the NXT. Do a small section and see what you think.
