Hi there
Im a "detailer" from Portugal and this its my first post ever, in Autopia, im reading the forum for months and after i did this job i think i can enter this contest, just for fun.
Here i present a full detail of car of my youth , present and future dreams, the Porsche 911 Turbo ( 993) from 1996 with 20000 miles
The mechanical part is impressive, the engine is 100% good , but regarding the exterior...its swirl city, scracth town, rubber sun and so one...its a mess
I took 16 hours divided by 2 days, it was the most difficult but rewarded detail , in experience and passion
I don´t have interior pictures ( it was detailed ), but i focus the work mainly in the engine and exterior.
The process was :
- washed with sonax shampoo , all car clayed with the help of #34.
- Wheels cleaned with 1Z wheel cleaner, washed with sonax , polished with 1Z PP, sealed with grojet 2000 and wheel sealant from Poorboys.
- pc with edge yellow pad and Menzerna PG x 3 ( times )
- pc with orange pad and Menzerna Ip x 1 ( time )
- pc with White pad and Menzerna FF x 1 (time )
- Washed with 1Z Raindance for removing any residues of polish.
- polished rear tail lights and front optics with mothers plastic polish , sealed with grojet
- Polished exaust with chromefleger from 1Z
- Paint sealed with Grojet 2000
- 1Z balsam for rubber and plastics ( exterior )
- waxed with Nattys
- windows cleaned with 1Z Glass cleaner
The interior was cleaned with APC , followed with 1Z Tiefenfleger and the leather treated with 4 STAR Leather conditioner.
