1) do i need to wash my car after claying it?

ill wash it just to be safe. i was pretty thorough when buffing out all the lubricant but since this is my first detail i won`t take any short cuts. after i wash my car again, i want to use my twin autoglym products.



just to make sure is this right?



1) SRP, wait couple hours, buff

2) 24 hours

3) EGP, wait couple hours, buff

4) 24 hours

5) EGP, wait couple hours, buff

6) S100 if i feel like i still need it



i also have a lot of water marks on the car and small amounts of swirls. should i use scratchx before using the SRP or will the SRP take care of these defects?



i am going to put the autoglym products in a spray bottle, how much of the product should i put?

SRP is a mild polish so it might help remove the swirls etc and it is always a good idea to start with the least abrasive polish first.



Your plan looks good to me.



With EGP, you want a very thin layer and a spray bottle is perfect for this.
