I got a free steak lunch (cooked by my customer`s wife) when I spent all day at their house detailing this RAV4 and RX330 (plus a wash and Optimum Car Wax quickie on his MDX).

2001 Toyota RAV4 and 2004 Lexus RX330

Klasse All in One with a Meguiars polishing pad and Poorboy`s EX-P by hand on both. BTW, the `01 RAV4 has only 7,000 miles on it.

The RAV4 has a really cool metallic red paint with orange metallic so the color changes from orange to red depending on how the light hits it. Sun went behind the house before I had finished working the paint so sorry, no pics of the orange popping out. :(

A couple shots of my car. Usually #80/RMG prep about 5-6 weeks ago, topped with NXT Paste with a blue Propel pad, then another layer by hand, 2 coats of #16 by hand and 2 coats of Optimum Car Wax by hand. OCW is as easy as using a QD so topping after each wash is very tempting. ;)

1994 Cadillac DeVille. Only 12,000 miles on this car. I just did a wash/wax and interior spruce up about a year ago but since then it has had some work done on the engine (alternator and starter) but mostly it has just been sitting. Most of the paint was in great shape but the hood was pretty bad. Scuffs and spider swirls galore.

Used Clearkote`s Compound with a Meguiars polishing pad, Poorboy`s SSR2.15 with a Meguiars polishing pad, then took this pic. The vast majority of the defect came out.

I then went over the whole car with SSR2.15/Megs polishing pad, then Vanilla Moose with a polishing pad (since VM has a touch more oomph than RMG) on the paint and chrome and topped with EX-P.

2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe. Owned by the preverbial little old lady...well, mid 50s anyway, who only drives it to her teacher`s job and to the gym-maybe 5,000 miles a year. I used to take care of her 1994 Integra and when she sold it last year, it only had 62,000 miles on it. Oh yeah, props to her for getting the 6 speed and to her husband for having a great sounding Borla exhaust installed.

Klasse AIO with a Meguiars polishing pad and NXT Paste with a blue Propel finishing pad.

2004 Lexus LX470. Exterior was a piece of cake, interior wasn`t. No time for before shots and when I finished, it was practically dusk as it was. Just enough light to snap a few exterior shots. AIO with a Meguiars polishing pad and EX-P by hand.

Great work as always Scott.

I always look forward to your pics every 5-7 days :).

I agree with the Optimum after each wash :). I find myself doing it often.

Love the G35...Care to comment on it in general in your opinion?

I don`t know why people put stickers on nice cars?

You didn`t list clay in any of them. How often do you clay vehicles? Does it cost extra?

Scott, you have inspired me. Makes me want to go out and detail my vehicles. First I`d better go to work so I can afford all of these detailing suppies I keep purchasing. So many products, so little time.
