Hi there, well guys i have some ideas from how to take off those big sticky banners from the paint of trucks and Trailers, but i want to hear different ideas, and of course a efficient safe method, because there was a guys that told me with a razor blade, i was like are you kidding me? I mean i respect the fact that he told me but i told him that i would scratch the paint, plus it will leave lot of glue.

I was thiking maybe with a dryer would be an option, slow one but safe, so i dont know about you guys, any ideas will help.

Thanks

To get the actual banner off, a hair dryer and some dental floss works great. Just get under one edge with your fingernail and use the floss to peel back the banner.

You may have some leftover residue to clean up, for which I would start with some goo gone or goo off and a cotton washcloth; if that doesn`t get it move up to some prepsol or bug and tar remover such as stoner`s tarminator. Failing that, try a claybar or a very small ammount of paint thinner.
