I can place the blame(or thank) Autopia on my new obsession with buying more detailing products. I finally found the Eagle One Wet car wash at Advance Auto, so I bought that for $4.98. I also went to Big Lots and got a 3-pack of terry cotton towels for messy cleaning, such as wheel wells. Finally, I picked up 2 more plastic shoebox size storage containers to organize my growing collection of towels. :o

Not that it`s any surprise, but those Big Lots terry towels are the poorest quality towels I`ve ever seen. :lol

It truly is a disease. I went to Target today in search of 2-4 oz. bottles to use for samples and because I did not have any cash, I went back to the automotive section and grabbed the NXT Glass Cleaner so I could use a credit card.

It continues. I picked up the Meguiar`s Scratch-X and a double pack of Meguiar`s foam applicator pads. There was a recent thread discussing Scratch-X, and it referrenced a how-to thread on the Meguiar`s web site. I`m really looking forward to trying it.

Wait until you start ordering products on line. I hate to pay shipping on a small order so I usually end up ordering more then I need. It is a sickness :)

Yeah you`ll be buying more plastic containers. I just bought three more a few nights ago, and I found a use for them within 5 minutes. I might have to get more!

Yeah, wait until you start doing it professionally, and are one of those guys whose always gotta have the newest and hottest.......i spent 600 bucks this week on waxes/polishes/pads/etc,

I like to think that`ll hold me for 2 months or so, but I highly doubt it. I started as a hobby detailer too, and I eventually got to the point with the hobby where I couldnt justify it anymore. If you can find the time to detail your friends`, familys, etc cars on the weekends, your expensive hobby can suddenly become a free one ;).

I have stepped it up to the next level(sorta), with my first purchase of a can of S100 paste wax. :D I also got a 2 pack of Vroom mf detailing towels last night and a Rubbermaid 4-in-1 interior cleaning tool.
