I just purchased the PC 7336SP from Lowe`s for $89 (used 10% movers coupon) and I`m getting ready to purchase a set of pads.

Which LC Pads do you prefer 6.5" or 7.5"? What would you recommend? Thanks

Regardless of manufacturer, I prefer the 6.5" (or 6.75" in the case of Propel) pads. The smaller pads are more in line with the PC`s power and in addition, they force you to be more precise in your polishing since you can`t cover as large an area at once.

6.5", no question. The 7.5" pads are too big for the PC in my book.

You may even want to get a few 4" pads for even more versatility and paint correction ability.

I like the 6.5 for wide area polishing / swirl removal - hood, door, etc. and the 7.5 for applying a liquid wax or even AIO. I used the 4in pads last night for the first time to work out a 2 in scratch, great addition to the lineup, as mentioned above. :xyxthumbs

6.5 pads with the PC (LC, E2K, and Megs)

7.5 with the Mak D/A (LC VC)

Both with the rotary (LC VC, E2K, Megs)

freedom777- I strongly encourage you to pick up a small backing plate and some 4" pads too. You`ll really appreciate them if you have any significant marring to remove.
