I`m thinking about polishing my exhaust tips, im not sure if theyre chrome, but they look like it. it says theyre polished stainless steel, looks the same though. but what would be a good polish for these that i could pick up at a local murrays or autozone?

They`re polishes s/s, different to chrome...not as hard

Any good metal polish will do the trick, especially if it leaves polymer protection behind...s/s is more difficult to keep clean & shiny compared to chrome.

*I* like Mother`s metal polishes (especially Chrome Polish), ClearKote Metal Polish, and NXT Metal Polysh. I`ve tried them all and all great...and importantly they leave polymer protection which makes future cleaning a breeze.

Wenol Red followed by Blue.

Leaves polymer protection, too.

I find that Wenol is not the best at cleaning up metal. But to put a shine on clean metals, they are tops by me.

Do a search on English Custom polishes, there seems to be some good reactions.

How about for a stainless neglected fridge? I can`t find a polish to make it look better.
