Scratch X

Can I use Megs Scratch X with a PC? It doesn`t say anything on it about machine use, only hand buffing. My wife`s car hood has some pretty good scratches in it from the previous owner using some kind of abrasive pad. Sheesh. It`s not through to the primer or metal though. Just through the clear coat and maybe the color coat.



And If I can use a buffer, which pad and what RPM?

Meguiars claimes Scratch X is for hand use only. That is the only way I have used it. It works good when it is worked in well before wiping off. But what you are describing, sounds too deep for this product.

i tried using it once, it seemed like it was telling me no.

I wouldn`t use it with a machine it works very well by hand unless the scratches are too deep. My opinion is strat mild and work up to more agressive cleaners.
