I thought that I was being very careful and doing everything right, but somehow I have some very fine scratches on my 2004 Oxford White Mustang. Can these type of scratches be removed via the PC or maybe some 1000 grit sandpaper. If a PC can remove them which product or products would be the best.

Go with the least aggressive product first and step it up from there if necessary. If indeed they are very fine scratches, they can be removed with almost any polish. The PC will make the job easy. You may have to work them a bit depending on the abrasiveness of your polish and your choice of pad. Go easy. Sounds like a quick and simple fix.

ptim: I`ve used the following on my 03 Mustang Mach 1:

1. Meg`s #83 with #8006 pad. Work area until haze and remove with mf.

2. Meg`s NXT with #9006 pad. Apply, let haze for 15-20 minutes and buff with mf.

I`ve also used some other products but this is a good combo with known products.

Yeah, if you can`t correct something with 3K grit I`d learn to live with it. For that matter, I don`t even use the 3K to remove marring, I`d rather have plenty of clear.
