since sealants bond to the paint and contain some of the same ingrediants that are used in the manufacturing of glues-after the haze is wiped off do you have in essance a mild plastic glue coating your paint?

It`s been a good 20 years since I`ve sniffed glue, but maybe I`ll have to huff a little sealant just for old time sake!! :soscared:

A polymer forms a bond with the paints molecule (hence molecular bonding) once is cross-linked it forms a â€Ëœhardâ€â„¢ protective shell. The open linked polymer molecules join together to create a mesh like effect. Polymer sealants also have greater life expectancy than a Carnauba wax, and are also able to withstand greater temperatures (350oF+)
