I just detailed the wife`s dark blue metallic Pontiac last week with the following:

wash - Megs NXT wash

clay - 4 star fine clay

PB`s S&W

Meg`s 7

PB`s EX-P

When it stops raining another coat of EX-P and eventually Natty`s

For my non-metallic black truck I was thinking of the exact same process, except I`ve been debating applying Meg`s Scratch X prior to the 7, for the light swirling... Should I? Pros/Cons...

Thanks

Yeah, I would. The #7 is nonabrasive so it won`t do much for the marring. It`ll hide it a little, but I`d still do the Scratch-X first.

Oh, and Welcome To Autopia!

You might want to pick up a bottle of Meguiars #9 Swirl Remover since it is more suited for entire vehicle use than ScratchX.
