Has anyone noticed differant results by applying NXT by PC versus applying by hand. I plan on using it on a car that will be clayed, and polished with #80 using a PC and a polishing pad. Just curious if it makes any differance how I apply NXT.

Thanks:)

I think since NXT has very light specialized cleaners, it works better via PC. In fact, I`ve found the paste version is awesome by PC. Just a few dabs per panel. It also sets up and passes the finger swipe test more quickly. Using the PC and an mf bonnet also works well.

Yes I think NXT works better with a PC and a polishing pad.

I have gotten the best results with NXT and the white polishing pad. I usually do 2 coats back to back to ensure good coverage. I buff off with a MF bonnet and the results are great. :xyxthumbs

Any tips on cleaning your polishing pads after using NXT? The stuff doesn`t seem to come out of the hand pads any to easy.

Thanks :)

I just wash them with Dawn and rinse them out well. I have never had any issues with NXT "not" coming out of my pads.

Dawn doesn`t seem to release NXT from my pads either. It takes several washings to remove the residue. I now wash these pads with Tide HE liquid in the washing machine.
