Yesterday I tackle this jeep Cherokee, it was no small task to say the least. The interior was foul and had never been vacuumed. I separated three nails from my fingers while detailing this interior, not pleasant!!! :sosad

On the interior I vacuumed, cleaned carpets with Costco APC 10:1, followed by LGCM (little green clean machine), followed by a final vac. On the vinyl I used the same mix of APC with an assortment brushes to clean the cracks and crevices. I wiped with MF and did a final pass with the vac and a dusting attachment.

After: This was done before the final vac, I was trying to hurry up so I could still have decent light.

For the engine I used Costco APC 1:1 and allowed it to dwell for about 3 minutes, I did not allow it to dry. I then pressure washed the bay and top of the hood. I then removed the excess water with a blower and dressed with meguiars #40 cut 50/50 with water. I then started the motor and allowed the dressing to Ãâ‚Å“setÃâ‚Â and followed with a final wipe down with MF.

The exterior had more dirt than defects which is common with cars that are not washed regularly. I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on the engine, wheels/tires, and wheel wells.

I used an acid based wheel cleaner on the wheels and a high PH tire cleaner on the tires and wheels wells (both purchased locally).

Washed with GC

Clay with CM blue bar

Polished with PBÃâ‚â„s SSR2.5 with the cyclo and green pads

Sealed with mothers synwax.

All trim was dressed with Hi-Temp trim dressing

The entire detail took just under six hours, most of that was spent just getting it CLEAN!!

Before: These shots do not show how dirty the jeep was, but trust me it was foul.

The black tar like substance that is on the rear cladding would NOT come off. I tried 3M tar and was remover, lacquer thinner, plstic razor blades, pro polish....Any ideas?

Very excellent job, and man I would be ashamed to ever have my car look like that.

Good job but is it me or are the headlights foggy?

Great job. That interior was pretty gross. You did a great job cleaning up in the console area. You also got some a lot of flakes to come out.

Dude, nice work! I want a LGCM so bad. Love the results I have seen with them. Pretty decently priced tool from what I`ve seen. Worth the money?
