Well, the electricity was out here and we have had over 6" of snow in the past 12 hours... so what do I do? The obvious choice is go shopping for detailing supplies! I could only find a lot of stuff I didn`t need or already had, but then I came across these products and they seemed pretty cool/unique to me. In the store I had the idea that these would be great for leather conditioner, polishing rims, and many other uses... so I picked up 3 for now. However, I could only find use for 1 after I got home, lol.

I filled the first with leather conditioner, and went to work on my Talon. It seemed like the product was pretty thick and the unit did not dispense as much product as I wanted it to... so I had to keep pumping it. However, it did leave a nice even coat, and did not use an excess amount of product. The thing I really liked was that this system did not get any conditioner inside of the little holes in the leather... it just left a thin coat along the top. The actual applicator was very soft and did not leave any lint
behind.
This will be very beneficial for mobile detailing as it greatly cuts down on the number of items you must bring with you. (well, gets rid of the big bottle, anyway) Plus it looks pretty cool over squirting the product on some type of towel and applying protectant that way.
Are there any liquid form rim polishes that you guys would recommend? I usually only use Mothers, in the paste form.
edit: The applicator is for sale here (http://www.sportscarcare.com/scc/product.asp?ItemID=car-92041&size=-1) but if you`d like I can probably pick you up some for cheaper.
