hi,

Which pads do I use to help rid myself of oxidation on my car?

I have the DAS kit, Orange cutting, Blue and Green

polishing/light cutting.

I am using AIO. It works fairly well by hand, quite a bit of paint transfer to the pads. Single stage paint, no CC.

I`m looking to speed up the process a bit by PC. Which pad of the three will be best for the job at hand?

Will the pads get ruined or can the oxidized paint be cleaned out?

Will the cutting pad be to harsh? The car is 14 yrs. old, tho I`ve tried to keep up the waxing/washing over the years - wasn`t mine, it is now.

What other products do you all recommend that might be stronger than AIO if needed?

thanks.

Let me know how it turns out... nobody has said anything in my thread, which you sound like you have the same issue I have.

Hi

I have only ever used AIO on the blue Sonus Pad which has allways created good results. I would start with the blue pad and try AIO on a wing or half a door and see what results you get. If this still leaves somes oxidation step up to the oranage pad and then follow with the blue pad. If you notice the pads start to become dirty either switch to a clean pad or rinse the pad with some APC.

All the best and dont forget to post the results.
