Successful scratch removal

I just detailed a friend`s explorer for him. It came out pretty well I feel. Unfortunately I am terrible at taking pictures, but here they are:

There seems to be a little haze on that door though. I would go at it with a light polish like ssr1 or fp to remove it. Also when taking pictures make sure to hold the camera still and make sure the iso is set to auto if your not sure what to use.

Yeah, forgot to mention the process.



DACP via LC Cutting Pad x 3

Mothers Power Polish via LC Polishing Pad x 2

AIO via LC Finishing Pad

Ex-P via LC Finishing Pad



By the way, those cloudy circles that you see in the pictures were not on the car, they must be the way the light is reflecting off of the camera lens.



Side note, Mothers Power Polish is extremely easy to use. It`s similar to DACP, but I would say slightly less abbrassive as it wasn`t able to take out some of the heaviest scratches in the door with a cutting pad. However, it breaks down very quickly, and there`s hardly any residue to wipe off. No dusting either.

did you use a pc or rotary. Did you have much hazing with the dacp on the cutting pad?

I used a PC. Hazing was minimal, but apparent. That`s why I followed it up with Mothers Power Polish on a Polishing Pad. Then AIO.



Note - Anyone know why the .... command didn`t work?
