so do you use a towel? a MF applicator? a foam applicator? what`s the best thing to use on leatherette seats, dash board and all the interior stuff?

I just use regular old cotton terry towels. Some probably use mf, but I don`t see the point and applicator pads are just too small. Be sure to spray your towel and not the surface you are protecting.

I spray it on cheap costco MF towels. If you spray it directly on the dash it gets everywhere.

I use it with a MF applicator, but I`m going to try it with foam apps soon.

If I am using it on tires I will use either a foam or a terri applicator. Both will saturate with the product after a couple of uses, so I just toss and grab a new one. I use a MF when doing the interior, seems to be less lint.

For tires, I use the Eagle One tire swipes. For the interior, I`ve used MF`s,Terry Towels,Foam Apps,MF Apps, Sponges & even T-Shirts! Once I used my girlfriends favorite thick terry washcloth. It worked great...........But it was the coldest summer night I`ve ever had!!

Get the 10 lot of small "foam" with green scratch backing sponges from Big Lots. 99 cents. Stiff enough to get a nice line on the tire around the wheel and after you use them on 3-4 cars, throw `em out.

i use very thin foam sponges. ~ 1/2inch thin so i can get around the tight spots easier.

Hey Marty,

I use those type of sponges on the mud guards on my truck. I agree with you. They`re great to use!

I use both large and small Foam Paint brushes. Great for tight spots and cutting in trim around windows and doors without the overspray.

How long do you guys leave the 303 on? Sometimes if I swirl it by accident while applying it dries with that swirl mark and is hard to buff out. This application goes for the exterior black trim on my 93 cobra

It depends. When I first did it a month ago, it was cool out w/o any humidity. I let it sit for about 10 min., then buffed it off. I used a terry towel. Got lint all over the place.

Yesterday, I did some of my interior that I previously I forgot to do before. It was about 70 out and a little humid. I let it sit for about 5 min., then buffed it out. This time I applied it using a foam pad and buffed it out with a Sonus polishing mf towel. It gave me better results using that.

I just love to use cotton terry applicators. I have a zillion of them. I get them at WalMart. Makes for a smooth application and you can bunch it up and cram it in tight areas and stuff.

I palm the applicator and can do the top of the dash or large areas in seconds.
