I QEW`d my pathy today and the results were very impressive. I am now ready for the next leg of this journey, the clay.

I will be using Clay magic and would like to know if the lube provided is a QD or just some mixture that reduces friction. Is there anything special about this lube? Or, can I just mix-up a` squirt bottle of QEW and accomplish two things at once (keep in mind the truck was QEW`d already... this would be essentially be a second QEW w/ the addition of clay and MF wipe down)

Thanks for any input

JJ

I was not too impressed with QEW as a clay lube, but others have been happy with it. I would recpommend using a conventional car wash solution as the clay lube.

So, essentially I could use the QEW alone or mixed with some of the Clay Magic lube and Clay away. Like I said, I QEW`d the truck today so it is very clean. I just didn`t know what to do when the lube ran out. The little bottle they provide might make it over half the truck.

Did you notice I replied to the thread linked above w/o a response from anyone.

JJ,

Based on Scott`s posts, I plan on claying my Accord with QEW mixed with an ounce of QD. If you don`t have any QD, you can get Megs QD for under $5 I believe at Walmart, Pep Boys, etc.

While it`s longer, I`m going to QEW, dry, QEW, clay, QEW and dry. Just seems safer.
