That is where Scott comes from. ;) I think he said 3 hours or so.

it is about 3 hours or so from Grand Rapids.

Alpena Scott, NE Michigan, bout where the knuckle nearest your fingernail is on your index finger. Isn`t it great describing where you live on your hand?

People always got a kick out of that when I moved to Arizona...they would ask where I used to live and automatically I held up my hand and pointed ohhh right about here in Michigan :D

Yeah, it is quite entertaining to see the looks on their faces. One of the greatest ones was trying to describe it to a british guy I knew, who hadn`t the foggiest where michigan was, but knew where lake superior was... go figure.

Its one of the benefits living in michigan. That and being surrounded by likes on all sides except for one.
