Has anyone tried 2.5 on plastic? I think the lenses to my headlights are plastic. They have some light pitting, would SSR 2.5 be safe, and would it even help reomove the pitting?

This is from the PB`s website.

SSR2.5 - Medium Abrasive

Removes: Light Swirls, Oxidation, Fine Scratches and Over-Spray. Use on: Clearcoats, Paint, Chrome, Gel Coats, Glass, and Plexiglass.

Thanks,

Steve

I have used it on some pretty rough looking headlights and then followed with SSR1 and it brought back a very good look to the headlights.

I have used SSR 1, 2 and 3 by hand on my head lights to remove cloudiness with good results.

Here is a good link to restoring plastic headlights (http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38972) Written by GSRstilez.

Hope that this helps you out.
