I`ve been using Mothers Back to Black on exterior black trim, mirrors, moldings etc...and it works OK, but is there something better.

Nope!

I`m partly joking, since I don`t know what you wish to achieve. What is B2B not doing for you?

I`ve used it and have been very happy with it for restoring oxidised and contaminated trim.

Another two products that I found impressive where Megs Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner (#39)

and 1Z Plastic-Vinyl Cleaner "Plastik-Reiniger"

Both are sprayed on and scrubbed with a detailing brush, then rinsed with a damp MF.

I`ve had amazing results in removing years of grime and wax residue with these two products. Unlike Mothers B2B, they offer no protection so you`ll need to dress the trim with something, that`s one reason I like B2B.

I`d have to say that the 1Z P R is a great cleaner, but if you`re looking for something to restore and "blacken" EXTERIOR trim then 1Z TIEFENPFLEGER is what you need.
