Im currently working on my black tahoe and about to start using VM for the first time, I was wondering if I should do it by hand or with a polishing pad on a PC? Which gives the best results. This thing is looking great. Clay, SSR2.5, SSR1, so far and VM and #16 to finish it off, should look nice.

I`ve used VM via the PC and a polishing pad with pretty good success, but due to its thinner consitency, I think hand application may be less wasteful.

I`ve used VM by PC with both a polishing pad (Meg`s 8006) and a finish pad (Meg`s 9006) with very good results. VM is great, you`ll love it!

Agreed. I used it on a DAS blue pad and seemed to use so much just for one car. Next time I`ll try by hand as I don`t use the polishing effect of VM, just the glaze side of it.

I`ve tried VM with the PC/Sonus blue finishing pad and also by hand with foam applicator. I definatley prefer the by hand method because it is so thin. I think there is much less product waste by hand and I felt the results were equal with both methods

Same here. I prefer to use a PC for more consistant polishing though.
