S100 or Soveran on my fresh custom red paint?

My camaro just passed the 3 month mark and I can now apply what ever I want to it. The paint is a metal flake pearl paint by dupont called Ragging Ruby. The car is garage kept so anything I aplly will last a long while. I plan on doing shows and just cruising around on nice days. I want the wettest deepest looking shine I can possibly get. Cost does not matter.



I was thinking about possibly doing 3 coats of Zaino Z2 then waiting 24 hours and doing 2 coats of Soveran or S100. I have read that the S100 is just about on par with soveran and I was wondering if this is true?



I will enclose a couple pics of the car. If you guys were me what steps would you do to the fresh 3 month old paint on my car?



Oh BTW dont mind how the hook sticks up along the sides. Darn fiberglass is warped so we are installing Dzus fasteners to level the hood out.

Man, I just *love* the paint on your car!



If that were mine, I`d use Souveran, hands-down. I`ve used both P21s and Souveran on my (garage queen) Jag and I liked the look of Souveran a lot better.

Thanks alot! I wasnt to sure about this paint when I picked it out but after I first looked at the finished product I fell in love. Do you think the coats of Zaino are a good idea or should I just go strait to the soveran since it new paint and is a garage kept car and not driven very often? Also would soveran look good on my other car also? Pic below.

Oh, yeah, Souveran would *really* be my choice on the second f-body! Souveran looks wonderful on dark colors.



I always use *something* before Souveran, if only the Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion. I like the added prep/cleaning. And using the right product before the Souveran can really add to the looks.



I dunno about the Zaino simply because I have never used it. I`d probably put the Souveran over 1Z Wax Polish Soft or Metallic Polish on the early car and that or over VM, or AIO, or Autoglym SRP on the later one. But that`s just because those are the kind of combos I`ve liked on some of my "pampered" cars.



Certainly nothing wrong with the Zaino/Souveran combo, it would look great and the Zaino would give you some great protection. But I can`t help thinking that I`d just *love* to do the WPS/Souveran combo on the red car, that would be my idea of a wonderful detail (the kind that`s so fun and satisfying that you love every minute of it). Heh heh, now that I`ve voiced *my* $0.02 plus, I`ll let somebody convince you to use the Zaino (you won`t be sorry if you go that route ;) ).

I would use Souveran on both cars. I too have used Souveran and P21S (aka S100) and Souveran gives a wetter look then P21S. Nice cars by the way.

Ahhh thanks for the info series1. Thats sorta what I was waiting to hear. Somebody that has used both products. Is that your viper in your avatar? That is a beautiful car! I am going to go ahead and order the Soveran right now. Cant wait till it comes in!

Nice Paint ! you can use whatever you want on that.... Z2Pro, then how about P21S? or Natty`s ? Or S100, Souveran. With that paint, you win with anything IMO.
