My Autopia search couldn`t find anything, but then again my search skills are a bit rusty :).

Dunno why I thought of this just now after using S100 for a few years, but is it ok to drive off almost immediately after applying a layer of S100? I`m concerned about the wax applied on the hood of the car. Would the heating up of the hood from the engine affect the wax in any way? I guess the same goes for anything that is applied to the hood (VM, AIO, SG, etc)

I wouldn`t think that it will affect the wax. If anything, I would think (I don`t know for sure I am just guessing) that the heat will help the wax bond.:nixweiss

How hot does your hood get from the engine heat?

it probably wouldn`t get that much hotter from the engine than it would from sitting in the sun, so my guess is that it`s not something to worry about.

Yes! Go cruise around in your freshly waxed ride! Make the other traffic stare at your reflections!

If you`re concerned with the wax melting of your hood, you can always switch to a sealant.:D

You`ll be fine. No better time to enjoy your work then right after you finish.

Only thing I ever wait for before driving is tire dressings. Wax is fine.
