I won`t give up the story because everyone should read it.

The pic of this car was posted over at www.offtopic.com while it was still intact ...If anyone remembers that thread or whatever, please post this there as I`m more of just a reader over there.

:wow :( Truly tragic, I had a "souped up" car when I was 15 and lucky for me I learned my lesson without anyone getting injured. Just about every young driver will drive fast and wreckless until something happens to them to make them re-think thier actions. It truly is a shame :(

Normally in a situation like this you would say "that was such a beautiful car but the important thing is nobody got hurt", unfortunately that was not the case this time....it make`s you realize what that statement really means :nono

I had a 69 GTO when I was 17. I ran into a truck and totaled the car out. Luckily, aside from minor injuries, everyone was OK. I was able to live and be sad over the car I crashed. Being aparent now, I can`t imagine how my parents would have felt if I would have not been so lucky.

wow..... thats pretty scary... how did his car end up to be like that?

whats scarier is that i one friend that has a civic and he goes about 110 mph WEAVING through traffic, and another friend who has a CLK 500 who speeds at night, about 120....... hope this kind of thing never happens to them. as for me, i dont think ill be breaking the 80 mph barrier anytime soon, unless im on a track.

yea, i read that too, however, it said that they had a real love for each other or something. i dunno, i was just skimming it. but a 15 year old with a baby, is it just me, or is that odd? around here, people have babies at around 25-30 ish...

Do drive safely zesty, as for those friends of yours, it`s only a matter of time before something happens. When it happens it won`t be pretty that`s for sure.

@Chee - How are you doing, friend?:)

@Zesty, good point. Keep in mind that increasing speed greatly increases possibility to make errors and greatly decreases (or ELIMINATES) chances to correct them. Drive as fast as long you feel comfortable (not sure I said this right) - but I guess you will know what I mean. Personally I never drive above 70mph (only on highways) - you will save maybe 30-40min (in best case) that will be lost somewhere else (traffic, waiting somewhere else etc.).
So drive smart - not faster than life (c).

P.S. Like my professor said: "In traffic you must act like everyone around you is crazy, sometimes even yourself." :D

Highway speeding is very different from city speeding. Deciding to go 120mph on the highway at 2am with no one around is a lot safer than going 120mph on a city street.
