Ok, for the most part, a sealent is not going to give the depth and shine of a true carnuba wax, yes?

That being said, what would you all suggest as the best WAX for Audi silver. I would love to have a nice, wet look that just glows and stands apart form other silvers.:bounce

Please let me know what you think.

Also try AIO+P21S or my current AIO+Souveran.

Another misconception. While it is marketed for dark colors, it looks great on silver. It really shows metallic while giving a very wet look (combination of PG/Natty`s and Signature, IMO).

BTW I tried Pinnacle Paste Glaz on a turquoise car and a black car over the weekend...they look great!

So basically Souveran and Paste Glaz look awesome on all colors. The myth has been revealed.

It is my opinion that Paste Glaz and Souveran are VERY similar, with the only major difference being the drastic price difference. I`m glad I bought 3 jars of Paste Glaz before they sold out. :woot:

Souveran shows metallic more than PG and is slightly wetter looking.

The "wetness" of Souveran gives it a slight edge over P21S on my car.

I have tried AIO/UPP on the Metallic Silver on my Toyota 4Runner. I was very impressed with the results.

I have a Silver VW (paint is very similar to Audi)

IMO, Souveran gives a deep, wet gloss or you can use P21S which seems to really bring out the shine.

I have settled on Souveran for the moment. I have to try Natty`s next.

Cheers

Dave.

I guess I will have to break down and get some of that then, huh?

Ok. Now, what is the best prep for that then? Just AIO, or VM, UPP, or ...??? (Not including IP, anf FP)

I`d go with AIO + UPP + Souveran (assuming that`s what you`re referring to in your above post).

Man, I would do just about anything to prep it the right way. I was even thinking of doing the Ip + FP+ FTG + 2-3 coats of WG Deep Paint Sealent + Souveran... Just to try and get the deepest shine I can from the Silver...
