just purchased the pc 7424. 2 month old black bmw with slight

swirl marks throughout probably due to cheap sponge or owning

vehicle with black color. what brand and color pads should i use

and more importantly what level of polish if any before waxing?

please help with any info.

polishing pad (white) and something like 3M machine glaze or a swirl mark remover

thanks for the feedback louisana jeeper. i can see your familiar

with black paint from the mustang. im a little familiar with detailing

a vehicle but seeing all the different pads and polishes it gets quite confusing. i purchased the 7424 but havent ordered any pads yet. i just spent 6 hours on different sites and im more confused than ever before. are you familiar with the 7424 and varous pads. and if so what would you recommend i purchase

as far as pads including any bonnetts for new car

i would get 2 white polishing, 2 black finishing and 2 yellow or orange cutting pads

i have the 7.5" LC pads personally and a couple 6" pads for detail work http://www.topoftheline.com/7durvelpad.html

i dont bother with bonnets, i just remove waxes with a microfiber

edit: btw, incse it is not obivious you will also have to buy a velcro backing plate for these pads to work
