Looks like autopia store is sold out of these. Anywhere else I can get it for the lowest price?

Very hard to find now. It was on amazon for $9.98, but I can`t find that deal now. The only vendor I know that has it is pakshak.com

Put a layer of plastic wrap between lid and container because waxes don`t have a great shelf life. Maybe buy a couple but I wouldn`t stock up like the stuff lasts forever. The solvents will eventually evaporate and leave you with a cracked mess.

I have to respectfully disagree with this. After contacting various retailers and manufacturers about the shelf life of paste wax, I was informed that most will last for many, many years (almost indefinitely) if cared for properly. The best thing to do is store them in a climate-controlled environment. This means keep them away from temperature extremes such as freezing cold temperatures in the winter and extreme heat in the summer. I happen to store mine in a cupboard and have had no problems at all.

I have four full cans of #16 and expect them to last for quite awhile. Long live carnauba!

What makes you think we still have it up here? Its discontinued in Canada as well. Unless you can find some store that still has a couple jars in stock, you`re SOL. I got my first and only can of #16 a few months ago from a local paint & body shop supply store that found one of their last ones left in one of their BC locations. I considered myself lucky.

#16 is still available in the UK from what I understand. Not sure what it would cost with shipping though.

Consider yourself lucky if you have a can of #16 at all. It`s surely to become a collector`s item within the near future.

They still have 17 left at www.carcareoline.com. They`re selling for 12.15. I suppose you can still look for vendors selling them for a buck less, but options are dwindling if you really want them.

Don`t know if Autogeek still has their special on #16 or not.

Its sad to see a product that has been around for 50 years go, but its not irreplacable....
