Car is clean and wet. Light showers in cental jersey to be followed by heavy showers and 44 degrees. Clay a car in the rain, add a little soap, it is really easy and it does a self rinse. Did the whole car in 15 minutes and barely got wet. I like to just keep picking away at tasks and the car stays real nice, do something everyday.

That`s an interesting idea. You wouldn`t have to worry about spots either since the raindrops are constantly falling off and being replaced by new ones before they have a chance to dry.

I would clay the car and then bring it in the garage though so you can dry it off, rather than leaving it in the rain after you finish. Then you won`t have to worry about any spots when it stops raining.

I dont know if that is a good idea because if you`ll notice when the rain dries it has a good deal of "sand" and dirt in it. So in a sense you would just be rubbing this around on your car.

Maybe I`m wrong...

I agree 1slow50, the rain has dust particles in it which i would not want to rub into my paint.

I would think the rain is acidic too from the pollution.

Well, I actually dipped my chennille mit in water with carwash shampoo and wiped over area to clay, so it was cleaned off quite a bit.
