man, i got up-sold by the guy at www.Properautocare.com lol :D

I called them to ask about a good polish to use before my AIO and UPP on my 05 Audi, and the guy ended up selling me on the IP, FP and glaze from Menzerna... lol I guess I wont be using the AIO anymore, huh?

What do you all think? IP + FP + Glaze + UPP:xyxthumbs

Surface Preparation- (using Menzerna polishes)

1.Wash vehicle with a good quality car wash concentrate 1.0oz per 2 gallon

2. Rinse vehicle thoroughly.

3. Remove any imbedded contaminants with detailing clay (Clay Magicâ„¢)

and a lubrication solution 5:1 (Distilled water/Woolite®)

4. Remove surface imperfections with (Menzerna Intensive Polish) 6/10, Orange /White Pad, speed # 5.0

5. A swirl mark remover (Menzerna Final Polish II, (Contains oils) CA 3/10, White Pad, speed # 4.5

6. Clean paint film surface with a chemical cleaner / polish (Klasse All-In-One)

7. Lightly wash paint surface with a diluted car wash concentrate 1.0oz per gallon

8. Dry thoroughly and start the application of *Klasse acrylic resin

* Insert favourite sealent here*

Note: For Ceramiclear clear coat use (4) Menzerna PO85RD (CAS 3/10) and (5) PO106FF(CAS 5/10) these polishes are better suited for use with a high-speed rotary polisher as the micro-abrasives require heat to break them down efficiently

Well, where does the glaze come in? Would I be better off with the glaze or the AIO? What will the difference be?

I also have the excel pads. 2 blue, 1 grey, and I red (from properautocare)

Is this sufficient?

SHould I use all 4 products together?

I would skip the AIO.

You`ll be happy with menzerna. IMO it`s the best polish you can find, hands down. Use the AIO to clean your paint in the spring, and for winter prep.

A glaze would be applied after the chemical cleaner AIO.

This is how/why I use a glaze-after polishing the paint surface and it`s the best it can be (there may be some scratches that are too deep to remove without compromising the clear coat) a glaze contains `fillers` and these will disguise my less than 100% paint surface.

With this in mind your decisions- are there any surface scratches that need to be `filled`-if yes use a glaze-if no apply your LSP

*I* would advocate Klasse AIO as an ideal `base` for any sealant / wax system.

I strongly support TOGWT`s points.

AIO is a fundamental part of any detailer`s arsenal.

In fact, I judge other `detailers` by whether they use the product.

ok. Then I will go with the FP, Glaze and UPP.

Hopefully, I will be able to get away without having to use the IP...

Maybe I should get some FMJ instead of the UPP... Think there would be a difference?

Nothing wrong with the UPP, since you already have it I`d just go with it. But then I`m partial to UPP ;)

SO I should use both? The glaze and the AIO?

I think AIO will undo the Glaze.
