hello, from what i understand most people are going from 80 right to their lsp.. if 80 has abrasives in it , wouldnt it be better to go to something else after 80 but before lsp?? thanks todd

I`ve only encountered *one* instance where #80 failed to provide a ready-to-wax finish and required a follow-up with a milder product (and that was a weird, poorly done, fresh repaint). You can expect #80 to break down fine enough that you can go straight to your LSP. Work it until it turns clear, or sometimes, pink. Use a fairly mild polishing pad that won`t leave micromarring of its own.

What George said. #80 basically breaks down to a finish comparible to #7 or #81.
