My local ACE hardware store has two 7.5 or 8" (cant remember the exact size). One is a wool pad and one is a waffle pad probably made for a rotary. Wondering could I use them on my PC. Looks like they would work just fine.

Thanks

Hey Brandon1, I just bought and tried to use Meg`s 8 inch pads on my PC. They don`t seem to work to good. Mike Phillips with Meguair`s said the 8 inch are for a rotary and they spread out the effect of a PC over to large an area. This keeps you from being able to do any paint removal to correct problem areas. That seems to be what was happening when I tried to use them. Mike at Meg`s is an expert on detailing and a good guy. Hope this helps, Wes

IMO the larger pads work OK for glazes and LSPs, but not for polishing. The PC will bog down faster and won`t be as effective. In fact, for polishing/paint correction, I prefer to use *smaller* pads than normal, 4" ones.
