I used the rotory with SSR3, and had a really nice glass like, swirl free finish. Decided to apply Mother`s sealer glaze by hand, now there are very fine spider web swirls!! How come? I thought glazed filled in the fine swirls. And they were not there before i glazed!! :nixweiss

WOOOOOHHHOO baby SSR3 is like liquid sandpaper I`m sure you left some fine swirls in there somewhere. you should have steped down after SSR3. but don`t worry you can do a light polish anytime

yeah SSR3 would almost certainly leave some light swirling. You need to use a lighter polish like SSR2.5 or SSR2 on a polishing pad to get rid of that.

it just seemed that after the SSr3 the paint was swirl free...i looked really close... then i used the glaze and it got worse.

The glaze cleaned up the paint a bit after the deep polishing and revealed swirls you couldn`t otherwise see. Hit it with SSR2 or #80 then reglaze. :)

Sealer and Glaze did not cause any swirls. What did you use for an applicator, and how was it removed.
