Film on wheels??

I clean wheels with detail kings "green stuff" says its safe on all wheels. All clean and shiny when wet after they dry they develope this film. Question is, Is there something thats safe on all wheels I can spray on and wipe down after they have dried to get them back clean and shiny looking? Ive read several post but I havent got the abbreviation lingo down yet. Thanks

The film wipes off? Or no? If it doesn`t wipe off, it sounds like the cleaner is affecting the coating....or the coating has been previously damaged. Is it clear coating that is now hazy?
