Is it better to apply a QD between coats of UPP? Or should I stay with UPP till I get 3-4 coats. Then maintain with QD. Also, is Quikshine a good one to use with UPP? Should I get UGE? Thanks.

I would recommend not using a QD until you have as many layers of sealant as you are going to want to have. Once you have the desired number, then you don`t have to worry about using a QD.
If you insist on using a QD between layers of sealant, I would suggest not using one that contains carnauba.
4* UGE is good stuff. You can`t go wrong with that. It`s made for use over UPP.
BTW, where in IL is Collinsville?

I`ve used QS between layers of UPP because my car wasn`t dirty enough to wash. Seemed to work just fine.
BTW, QS has worked great with every sealant and carnuba LSP I`ve got, and currently that is:
#16, NXT, Glanz Wax, Pink Wax, Shokar Sealant, Carnauba Moose, Souveran, Paste Glaz, S100, Race Glaze Polish/Sealant, Z2 Pro, Optimum Car Wax, UPP, Stuf Carnauba and Wolfgang.
