I dont know about everyone else, but i get good results with NXT. I have not been patient enough to see how long it really lasts, but im at 8 weeks on my windshield and 10 on the roof of the car.

With no indication it is slowing down :xyxthumbs

Garaged or 24/7 outside? NXT alone or NXT as a topper?

Very good beading after 10 weeks. I heard NXT is not designed to bead.

On windshield too? That is interesting. I once put some chemical that came with PIAA silicone wiper. When it was raining a little, the windshield became hazy. After such experience, I do not put anything on windshield.

i`ve got NXT on our van over ColorX and its holding up fine and still beads at 5+ months-still has a nice looking finish just not the extreme gloss of a recent application-on certain colors it looks very good

IMHO, there are a lot of factors that for some, NXT may bead longer and not for some.

I tend to have NXT bead for 4 weeks. That is tight small bead. On the 6 week it beads, but not small beads. It tends to sheet water.

Not slick even after the 1 wash. (I wash weekly) I tend to add EO QD to maintain slickness and just after initial application of NXT x 2. Underneath is a layer of AIO.

On a scrap panel, I tried putting NXT x 2 without prep or anything underneath. Just 1 wash, and no beading. It sheets.

All wash done by NXT wash.

So it could be the AIO and the EO QD that affects the result which provides surface tension.

And I read somewhere that NXT is not designed to bead by itself.

NXT wash is designed to sheet so that probably explains a lack of beading-our van is outside 24/7 and has only been coin washed 4or 5 times over winter

Yeah I know NXT wash sheets. I did all the beading test after drying the panel. I hose-sprayed at least 30 minutes after drying just to see if it still beads. I believe you can`t determine beading action until you finally rinsed off the suds...

NXT lasts for me too, I don`t know why people claim that it`s got weak durability.

I use NXT every 2 months or so, and use Eagle One WAUD in between, and it`s lasting very long for me. However, Klasse is much more resisting to water sticking and drying on it.

NXT has been very good to my Z. There was a time the year before to where I wasn`t able to re-wax until after about 4 weeks and it seemed that it was still doing it`s thing. By that I mean I was still getting the water beads and I was still getting the sheating action. Here are some pics. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v390/BlueDragonZ/Reply.jpg

Personally i do not get much time out of mine. As being stated it might sheet. I find that it beads on the sides and so called sheets on the horizontal. I say this because i think that it does not hold up well in cold, frosty temps with morning frost.

After a week or two it does not bead at all on the hood and the sides still bead.

I can`t really say too much about the durability aside from that one instance as I previously stated, but that`s good enough for me. That`s because I usually apply a coat at least 3-4 times a month with a PC. What can I say I just LOVE the way it brings out the shine on my Z.

BlueDragon, i think that may be the best looking pic i have seen here yet.

The paint has everything: Wet, depth, reflectivity, pop, it looks great :)

The NXT was applied to a polished surface on this car. This car is garaged, but sits outside while my wife works.

Im in Florida, and i think NXT does better where there isnt salt and ice, but doesnt just about everytihng, including people lol.

I also have an outside car 24/7, and i made it 9 weeks with NXT holding up just as well on the paint. I quite possibly could have gone another 4-6 weeks, but i rewaxed.

My windshield doesnt get hazy, although before the curing or crosslinking mumbo jumbo, there is a slight film that can reflect in the sun.

Next day its fine.

Works as a great rainx. Water jumps off the glass when its fresh at around 25 or 30 mph. I re wax when i need to be around 50 mph.

i use rain water when looking at the beading effect-beads better on side panels-our van is outside 24/7 in PA winters with road salt-it definitly holds up better than some people claim

I get great shine and great life out of NXT - in fact when I got my new hood painted - The Shine on the non painted panels that had NXT on them was as good as the freshly painted, baked and buffed hood
