most grocery stores sell "purified drinking water" in bottles similar to that for a few dollars. drink the water, or wash your car with it, then fill the jug with whatever.

Thats a good idea, but will it be chemical safe????
I guess there is only one way to find out.

Check your area for a place that sells janitorial supplies and you`ll find one that carries a chemical safe container just like that. You might also try Grainger - link (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/productdetail.jsp?xi=xi&ItemId=1611682985&ccitem=) or MSC Industrial Supply MSC Link (http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNSRIT?PARTPG=NNLMK32&PMPXNO=2011981) .
I`ve bought from MSC on line and had it shipped to my house.

That type of comntainer is called a Carboy or someimes a "Tight Head Container" If the chemicals aren`t too caustic that you want to store you can usually find 2.5 gal and 5 gal Carboys at your local friendly home beer brewing store. Otherwise the yellow pages are full of bottle suppliers.

I ended up getting a 2.5 gallon jug of poland spring water and emptying half of it then i just added the gallon of wheel cleaner that i had into it. It seemed to work out pretty well the dillution ratio was 1:1 so i didnt need anything much bigger than the 2.5.
