The directions said 1 panel at a time, but has anyone done the whole car and then removed it? How about a 2nd layer, do you wait 24 hours like they recommend?

Thanks!

I usually let it sit on one pannel while applying to another then wipe it off; so essentially it sits for about 2 minutes. As for second applications I wait 12 hours minimum.

It`s been a little more humid here in SoCal due to the rain, but typically FMJ is not completely dry for me after doing only one panel. Drying time depends on how thinly you apply it, but FMJ is so easy to remove that I`m not as careful as with other products.

I`ll do the entire car and test the first panel applied. If it`s not dry, then I go in and relax for 10-15 minutes, and then come back and buff off. Still comes off as easy as anything...

I don`t think wiping it on then off does anything. It needs to completely dry, but I could be wrong.

I think this is really a matter of preference. In order to remain as efficient as possible, I apply FMJ to the entire car and allow each section adequate time to cure. The total time lapse is approximately 15 to 20 minutes via PC . . . plenty of time. As others have suggested, wait 24 hours for the 2nd application. Good luck :)
