Megs 26...

i found a bottle of Megs 26 liguid at Advanced for 99cents- i`m thinking of mixing a couple ounces of 50% 26 and 50% NXT to try to get rid of the plastic sheen of NXT- what do you think?

$.99? Man, that is insane. I don`t know how well it will mix or the results you will get, but you don`t have anything to lose.

99 cents! Holy moly. Where you located? Ill pick up the rest of the inventory for that price. I find #26, to work well on dark colors. Its a real nice wax to throw on a customers car.

i`m near Pittsburgh-it was the only Advanced with it in the closeout buggy-also got a bottle of NXT booster wax for 99cents:D

Whoops! Thought you said Autozone. Advanced hasn`t sold the #26 stuff here in Florida since forever.:(

You could try Autozone. I`ve been raiding the local Autozones around me for the #26 paste. They`re marked 9.99, but they`re selling them at 4.99. The price doesn`t come up until they scan the UPC code.

i`ve used the NXT booster wax before-sprayed on a microfober and wiped on the car it works well for some extra gloss

I dont know about mixing the 26 and NXT, but i have mixed UPP and NXT with very good results.



Increased durability is still pending though.

how durable is 26 by itself?

26 lasts at least 6 weeks for me. I don`t know how long it really lasts because I never go longer without adding another coat of 26 or s100 on top of the 26.
