is there a good sealent you guys would recommend from megs?

or is #26 a better choice in the megs line up. I know 26 is a wax but i guess i was curious if a sealent in the megs line up would last longer.

Im not sure the first version of NXt will get you any better durability than the newer paste, or 16/26. Sealants, generally speaking will outlast most waxes. Any reason why you have sided with Megs? Are you open to Blackfire or Four Star?

#20 Polymer Sealant (seems more durable than NXT)

For other people`s cars, I`d recommend you get a can of #26 paste wax or #16. You`ll get more applications per dollar out of those two than a liquid wax or sealant. Save the more expensive stuff for yourself if $ is an issue.

When you say "for other people`s cars," do you mean paying customers or friends and family? If you are a professional, I would just build the price difference into the prices you charge. NXT and #20 are in the $16-$17 range for 16oz., while Klasse is only about $20 for a 16.9oz that you use very little of per application. For such a nominal difference, I would go with Klasse and charge $1.00 more per job when you are using a sealant.

If you are really just trying to save significant money on your LSP, I`d stick with the $10-$12 carnaubas, although I don`t know if the amounts used would result in higher or lower per app. costs.

If your doing any car for that matter, durability is an issue. Paying customers deserve a product that they can see exists. I would stay away from the Carnaubas, and go with a sealant, like #20, or NXT paste. Also consider the New Mothers line of Polymer protection.
