Any guitar playing Autopians?
If you play, let`s see some pics your axes!
I personally have a 2003 Taylor 314kce summer ltd. edition. It`s my pride and joy. Check it out here. (http://community.webshots.com/album/115186739MSiQrv) How do you think a few layers of Natty`s will look on that back?

Nice guitars.
I`ve got an Art & Lutherie acoustic with solid spruce top. It`s just like the one posted in the pic here but its finished in cherry red. Nice rich sounding guitar with great projection and a great feel/touch. It`s made in Canada by Godin guitars which are the makers of Seagull acoustics. My brother likes to play my A&L more than his own guitar which cost about 4 times the price of my A&L.

My electric guitar is a copy. It`s Peavey copy of a black Telecaster.
Like this one:

I`ve also have an Ibanez Destroyer from about 30 years ago. It`s at my brother`s place. It needs a bit of work on the pick-ups but other than that it`s in pretty good shape. Apparently these are worth a pretty penny now ?
My Destroyer looks eaxactly like this:

Enjoy your guitars.........Bob

I have a 61 (or 62?) Tele copy -- it the Fender Japanese version that I bought new in 1985. Haven`t really played it much lately though.
Coincidentally, I`ve been wanting an acoustic to pick around on and just got this model delivered UPS today:

I guess it`s no Taylor, but I was just looking for a $100 guitar that will play half way decent and this one got good reviews. It was really cold out today, so I`m letting this fine piece of Asian craftsmanship warm up in the box overnight before I open it. :xyxthumbs

I have a 1978 Martin HD-28. Once I figure out how to use my new printer/scanner I`ll post a picture!
Used to have a 1942 Martin 00018-E, which was an unusual guitar. A smaller size, with a stock electric pickup. I regret selling it! :(

Here is a pic I just took today. My Telecaster and $100 acoustic (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guitar/s=acoustic/search/detail/base_pid/516458/) . I just opened the acoustic today, and it still has the protective plastic on the pic guard (as you can see).

I know there are quite a few guitar players on this forum, and am surprised more people haven`t posted...

Yep I`m one myself. Been playing my Jay Turser for about 5 years. I started out with the basics such as "House of the Rising Sun" and so on. I don`t know what hurts more, learning to develop calusis(sp?) or using a rotary for the first time on your truck? j/k:D
Now I can play stuff like Godsmack, ZZ Top, don`t know if any of you have heard of Esteban? I can play a few songs by him. "Green grass and high tides forever" by The Outlaws, some Zepplin and etc... Oh and Joe Satrani, few things by him, don`t know if any of you heard of him either. He doesn`t do much singing, if any, mostly just electric guitar rock.
As with any guitarist, we all have songs of our own we would like to get better at. Happy playing :xyxthumbs AR

I just got a new printer/scanner, and scanned a photo of my guitar. However, Autopia says my picture is too big and I don`t know how to make it smaller!
If you want to see my guitar, go to the Autopia gallery.

My main axes and boxes are a 1974 Fender Telecaster with my trusty Fender Twin Reverb amp, an early 80`s handmade Yairi dreadnought and a Kentucky A-style mandolin.
I also have a late 60`s Gibson J-200, an early 70`s Gibson Gospel...These are retired to home use only. I also have a few classical nylon string acoustics and Yamaha acoustics, as well as a few dozen harmonicas, mostly Hohners.
I was a professional musician for 10 years and played 160-180 gigs a year along the East and Gulf coasts from MA to LA. Made a few records and wore out a couple of vans/trucks along the way. Man...Those were the days!
I still play out now and then with friends who are still in the business. As soon as my daughter goes off to college (1 1/2 years), I`ll probably start something up again...if I can find a good rhythm section. :xyxthumbs
