I like to use some kind of gloss enhancer after every wash to refresh the shine and slickness of my car. Lately, I`ve had UPP as the LSP, but sometimes I have SG (and sometimes S100). So, for detailing spray, I`ve tend to stick with products that have no carnuba. My thinking has been that I am likely to add more layers of sealant later on, and don`t want to cause bonding problems.
But, I really wonder if this is actually an issue. If I used a detailing spray with carnuba, wouldn`t the carnuba be nearly entirely gone within a week or so? In that case, why not just use a carnuba-based spray to get a little extra "pop" for my sealant?
