Just paid a visit to Meguiar`s web site to look at their new MF towels and pads. Upon exiting noticed their 2 top sellers. Believe it or not:

1. Ultimate Wipe MF

2. #7

Well you need those Ultimate Wipes to get the darned #7 off!

I`m actually pretty shocked at that. While I`ve never had any trouble with #7 in the few times that I`ve used it, it definitely isn`t `consumer friendly`. The Ultimate Wipe is a pretty good product, but #1?

It just goes to show you.....when you think you have things figured out, THAT is when the trouble starts.... :)

The ultimate wipe is my all time favorite meg`s product. The one with the black border, absolutely perfect for removing polishes. Probably #1 because one of the few microfiber clothes you can buy locally at the store

jmsc, that is an interesting fact. guess they are not going by the sales of the people on the board lol! . have used # 7 and it works good but hard to believe it would surpass #80 or #16. guess that goes to show you never know.

Those top sellers were in the Pro products store. The top 2 in the consumer store were the GC Trim Detailer and the Ultimate Wipe.

Gummipflege is for weatherstripping, not trim. I consider trim to be the pieces on the outside of the car, not the weatherstripping. Maybe it works on trim too? I`ll have to try that and see.

Well, that`s a pretty gray area...especially when the trim has been in the weather for a while...

Ultimate Wipes are #1? I looked at them at Boater`s World and wasn`t impressed. Are they just for temporary use??

Thanks to Gummipflege, my old trim is soft and black. No gray to be seen. :up
