Hey Everyone,

Ive been getting alot of feedback about the DA pads "cookie cutting". One of the reasons is that the older style is designed for a 5 inch backing plate or smaller. Using a bigger plate obviously damage the pad. The new ones will be out of production shortly. Ill keep everyone posted. Thanks and have a great day.

Eric, I can see that using a bigger packing-plate would do damage, and there`d be no one to blame but oneself. In that specific case there should be no come-back on LC.

However, I had this problem too, and I only use a 5` b/p.

I`m not argueing, or trying to contradict you, as your point is very valid and I can see some falling into that trap.

Just letting you know that this problem *seems* to be more than a backing plate issue.

This has been my solution to the problem.

I`ve tried to reinforce the velcro edge with rubber glue before I start using them.

Thanks for your cooperation and customer care on this issue. You`re a great embassador for LC. :bigups
