Not too bad I guess...:bounce
Looks great, especially the pics of the hood and roof! I love VM and CMW on black, even better when CMW is layered a few times.

Nice stang, how did you apply VM and CMW? Before I had my PC I didn`t like VM to much, but with a polishing pad and the PC, VM is a joy to work with. The couple of times I used CMW I had problems removing. I think it was a combination of the heat, me using to much product and letting it haze. Next is the red one.

I applied the VM with a white pad, i`m not sure exactly what it is called. I guess a "polishing pad". I used a different "pad" with the CMW, today it was mostly cloudy and 45, so the temperture was perfect for waxing and it was very easy for me to apply and remove both of the products.

If I knew the brand i`d be able to tell you what kind of pad it is. I`m guessing it was a polishing pad though. I`m also guessing(hoping) you used a finishing pad for the CMW.

Any way to get rid of this? I noticed it too... Damn Ford paint!

MAN-OH-MAN, you make wish I had a black car!
Great job on your new Stang. That combo of VM & CMW can`t be beat as you just proved !
The orange peel is actually quite bad throughout and not just the trunk.
Stang, unfortunately the only way to deal with it is to sand and and sanding an OEM`s thin finish isn`t highly recommended. It`s best to leave it well alone and enjoy it the fact it at least swirl free.
NOTE: You can either wet sand or dry sand using the either Norton or 3M Trizac system but either way, OEM Ford paint is thin so if it were me, I`d leave it well alone.

Damn... thanks for the info though!
Stang,
Don`t worry about, greater than 99% of the cars on the road have today have OP. The only thing is, since you did a great job with prep and waxing, it made it that more noticeable!
It`s actually very very tough to find any production line painted vehicle that doesn`t have it.
It`s something doesn`t even really merit discussing anymore unless someone is fixing a paint chip. They need to understand that feathering is highly important, especially with cars that have orange peel or the spot will stand out.
