From my experiances they are nearly equal in terms of aggressiveness. I have read in some posts that some poeple tend to find DACP a tad more aggressive, but I do not see that. For me it is too close to call, they are interchangable. I do use DACP more often then SSR2.5 simply because the time it takes to work and break down the DACP is significantly shorter and produces IMO identical results. Hope this helps.

DACP and SSR 2.5 it just about the same. I use #83 more than ssr2.5 thou. I use DACP with yellow or orange cutting pad.

Price almost the same I think, dont recall.

I am one of those people who find DACP to have more bite. IMO DACP is more abrasive while 2.5 leaves a better finish. The difference is REALLY apparent when you use both with the rotary.

I use 2.5 when detailing in less than perfect condition(full sun, high humidity) and DACP for everything else. Both have a place in my arsenal.

Hmmm . . . never used DACP with the rotary. Is it worth a try?

Wow, I always considered DACP to be equal with 2.0 !! I havent tried 2.5 yet.

Wow, I find SSR2 to be equal with #80. :nixweiss

Knockwurst, IMO the entire Meg`s line excells when used with the rotary.

They seem to be pretty close to me in aggressiveness. 2.5 is hard to figure out when you`ve worked it long enough though.

2.5 breaks down much quicker than DACP. This may be why there is more of a difference with the PC.

I can`t tell when it breaks down though. DACP gets more clear and dusts up a bit. SSR2.5 just continues to look wet to me. :nixweiss

I, too, have a little trouble figuring out how long to work SSR 2.5. It does seem to break down very quickly.

It`s true, I did noticed about the #83. It does leaves abit of dust behind. The SSR2.5 does look wetter thou and it doesnt leave dust behind.

I`ve been using SSR2.5 lately and IMO it seems to be slightly more abrasive than DACP. But as others have said, I don`t think there`s much in it. The SSR`s do wipe off very easy in warm weather, unlike DACP which can be a slight pain.

As `ebpcivicsi` said, I too find the SSR2 is very similar to Megs Speed Glaze.
