Recently I purchased ClearKote VM and CMW, and About 2 weeks or so ago, I applied a coat of NXT to my Black 04 GT, and I was wondering if the Clearkote Products would remove the NXT, or what would happen?

Thanks!

Not if you applied the nxt over the VM, the nxt, *might, remove some though. It has very subtle cleaning ability.

I havn`t gotten the Clearkote products yet, they come in Tuesday, so those 2 products would be applied "over" the NXT I guess I could say.

Strip the NXT first. Use some spit (to keep it lubrificated) and a really coarse scotch-brite pad!!!

VM will remove it as it is a polish with very fine abbrasives in it.

DON`T DARE do this! Blk_03 you should not be suggesting this to anyone, not even in jest!

98stang04 How do you plan on prepping the vehicle (e.g. wash, clay then VM or just wash and VM)?

You will have to wax again after using VM. VM will remove the NXT.

I agree with the others. VM will remove most, if not all the NXT.

I use NXT wash on the car, and most of the time I will just go NXT wash, then VM, then CMW, usually I won`t clay the car, but soon I will.
