Has anyone ever heard of a product for wheels that contains diesel fuel? And could the diesel cause any long term damage to the wheel? Rim? Paint damage from sling?
The reason I ask is that my neighbor came over yesterday and gave me a bottle of this stuff. He wouldn`t tell me the name, he said I had to try it first, but he did tell me that it is not a product that can be bought in stores anywhere. He swears by it, saying it will outlast anything on the market. I have my doubts and concerns but I must say his tires look pretty good, even after a few weeks of neglect.
I did spray some on my spare, which is currently in use due to a minor accident, just to see how it would look. Right now, it has a greasy look but he indicated to let it set overnight and then wipe off. When I get home I will wipe off and I will try to get some pictures.
